Vogon Jeltz is the captain of a Vogon Constructor vessel, which in turn is part of the Vogon Constructor Fleet which destroyed the Earth to make way for the new hyperspace bypass. Like all Vogons, he is bad tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous, and his favorite pastime is shouting at people. Vogon Jeltz also enjoys writing poetry, but this is merely to throw his mean callous heartless exterior into sharp relief. Don't let it fool you, he knows not the concept of kindness. Though large in stature, we managed to fit him in a space-aged plastic container.
